Indiana Pacers star forward Paul George has suffered one of the most brutal leg breaks ever seen in basketball. On duty with Team USA in the scrimmage being televised around the world, the Pacers forward was contesting a break-away James Harden lay-up when he careered into the stanchion of the hoop that, upon later inspection, looked like a misplaced piece of equipment. His fibula and tibia seemed to snap in half from the impact. The scrimmage was cancelled immediately after the event. The Team USA bench looked shell-shocked, nearly moved to tears by the horrific injury. For those with the stomach to watch it, here is the very graphic footage of the injury. Doctors have estimated that George will spend at least 9 months out. An avalanche of tweets have come from the NBA world in support of George, here are some of them.
